The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Wednesday, August 29 reveal Victoria on high alert, Victor showings off his softer side, and Devon maybe having a change of heart.
Devon’s Anger Knows No Bounds
Nate (Darnell Brooks) does his very best to get through to Devon (Bryton James) but it’s to no avail.
His support is simply not wanted and the more he tries, the more Devon pushes back. In fact, it nearly causes a rift between the two, but luckily, Nate knows when to back off.
One person who doesn’t get the hint is Abby (Melissa Ordway). She pops in to see Devon and finds her friend in quite a state as he writes his scathing statement for Lily’s sentencing.
Well, Abby’s no stranger to family drama and puts her two cents in on the situation. Devon’s temper explodes when he sees Abby’s taking Lily’s side and he all but throws her out the condo.
Peace Within The Ranks
A business meeting between his wife and daughter raises red flags for Victor — about his own behavior.
He’s an incredibly hard man to work for and Victor actually says he’s sorry and tries to make amends! He hosts a family dinner at the club for Nikki and his daughters where they all agree to put their family drama behind them. Sure.

Later, Victor continues his crusade of peace when he runs into Devon. He sits down with the young billionaire to offer up some words of wisdom about the Winters family rift.

The Walls Are Closing In
Still, Victoria’s stress level is through the roof and it only gets worse after she realizes a stranger at the dive bar seems to follow her everywhere she goes.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) bumps into her at the club and she realizes he knows her whole family. She’s further shocked when sees him again at Crimson Lights. For a guy who’s new in town, he sure gets around.
But, nothing compares to what she hears next. Abby gives her and the ladies a rundown of her interactions with her beau’s bro and it leaves them all shaken. It wasn’t just friendly chatter with Abby — he was digging for intel on JT!
