Back at home, Nikki and Victor discuss Reed’s situation. Victor is annoyed Nikki seems overly understanding of the teenager’s growing pains. Finally, he puts her on the spot: What is she hiding? Nikki balks!
Quick on her feet, Nikki immediately switches the topic to Helen. Victor happily explains why he took on a lover: It was because she did it first! Nikki is shocked.
Fortunately, before Victor has a chance to return to his question for his wife, Kyle drops by, and Nikki takes the opportunity to leave.
Kyle immediately gets to business. He wants a job at Newman, but Victor instructs him to continue infiltrating Jabot. Kyle can do whatever he needs, but leave Dina out of his schemes.
Elsewhere, Nikki and Victoria arrive back at home with Reed. On the verge of a total meltdown, Vicky is coming unhinged. She worries for Reed, but Nikki assures her daughter, they’ll help him through it.
Back at the Ranch, Kyle resists the idea, but Victor wants him to continue being his mole at Jabot.
Across town, Nikki catches Arturo and Abby toasting to their new friendship. The jealous woman dashes off.
Back at Vicky’s house, Reed demands to know the truth and Vicky confirms everything. The poor teenager is beyond stunned, but he still has hope his father will come back to Genoa City.
Heartbroken, Vicky drops a bombshell on Reed. JT is never coming back. He crumbles in her arms.
