The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Friday, May 17 promise a day of new beginnings and heartbreaking pasts!

Un-Wedding Time!
Billy (Jason Thompson) wants Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and she wants him, too, but not in the same way.

Oh sure, she wants to live together, go to bed and wake up together, and raise the children together but she does NOT want the ring. In fact, she is not sure if she will ever want a ring again.

This sort of talk shocks Billy. For the first time in his life, he wants a genuine commitment spoken in front of their friends and family and a signed piece of paper making it official.

But alas, Vicky will not budge. She does not want marriage. However, she will give Billy a party.

The couple begins planning a rather unconventional ceremony of sorts. They will have a party, even a non-honeymoon, and scream their love from the rooftops but without the mess of an actual marriage.

Daddy DNA!
Speaking of alternative lifestyles, Rey, Mia, and Arturo find out what the future holds for them as well. The results are in and each man has an envelope in hand.

Arturo (Jason Canela) and Mia (Noemi Gonzales) sit in the part to find out their fate. Will the contents of the DNA test bring them closer together or rip them apart? Mia definitely does not want anything to mess this up.

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) Sharon’s (Sharon Case) cottage to go over the results. She is the woman of his life so it is only fair she knows what she is getting into. Is he a daddy-to-be or a heartbroken proud uncle?

Disaster Strikes!
All the while, Adam faces more pieces of his past when Victor strongarms him into seeing Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Adam will feel his brother’s overwhelming disdain, especially when he asks to see Christian. Adam may be the boy’s biological father but Nick makes it clear HE is the dad!

Nick gets so nervous he even considers texting another blast from the past.  He opens his phone, finds Chelsea’s number and contemplates texting her. Will he go through with it?

In a shocking twist, Nick may not have to worry about giving up his son much longer. A mystery person shows up at Adam’s door with a gun in hand. They’re out for revenge and determined to get it!
