The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Stuns Nick

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 31 reveal a day of shocking news and surprising moves throughout Genoa City.

We round out the month with Phyllis dropping a bombshell on Nick, Paul supporting Christine’s career move, and Jack doling out advice to someone he believes needs it. You won’t want to miss a moment of this dramatic episode.

Surprise Party
Most of Genoa City is down on Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) for joining forces with Adam (Mark Grossman). But Phyllis knows something they don’t know: She’s just using Adam’s distraction with Christian to get what she thinks is rightfully hers.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) figured it out and the two women joined forces to give Nick (Joshua Morrow) what’s rightfully his. Will the younger Newman look a gift Phyllis in the mouth, though? And will her gesture just put both of them even tighter in Adam’s cross-hairs?

You Have To Move On
Christine (Lauralee Bell) did her job as district attorney and prosecuted Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria, and Sharon (Sharon Case) for a crime they actually committed.

This deeply offended Victor (Eric Braeden), and he decided he wanted her out of office, ASAP. So, he did his Victor Newman thing.

Taking the ‘you can’t fire me, I quit approach,’ Christine decides to step down. Paul (Doug Davidson) is happy to support her in whatever her next career step might be. Just as long, we presume, Victor approves.

Was it only a week or so ago that Billy (Jason Thompson) was telling Jack (Peter Bergman) that he needed a break from the business?

Billy arranged for Jack to go to Paris to visit Ashley (Eileen Davidson). The siblings returned reconciled and ready to run Jabot together. Billy wasn’t particularly pleased about that.

Then again, Billy isn’t doing too great these days, himself. He’s dreaming of Delia, he can’t sleep, and he’s blacking out. Now it’s time for Jack to give his brother some advice on how to pull himself together.
