The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 3 reveal a day of suspense and anticipation for Sharon and Nick’s wedding day. But will it come off without a hitch? Let us count the potential pitfalls.
Wedding Woes
Nick (Joshua Morrow) asked Jack (Peter Bergman) to be his best man. It makes sense. Noah (Robert Adamson) is out of the country, Adam is dead, and Nick is mad at Victor (Eric Braeden).
Jack used to be Nick’s stepfather, and they’re currently in business together, so why not? But, of course, it looks like there may be a surprise guest…
Here’s why not: Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) teamed up to convince Victor to come to the wedding. Yes, uninvited.
Yup, this could get a little awkward.
Feeling Better
An intervention from his family couldn’t convince Billy (Jason Thompson) to go to rehab.
Getting voted out as CEO of Jabot and replaced by Traci (Beth Maitland) wasn’t enough, either.

And they will see that he’s not in rehab so things can go south for he and Phyllis real fast.
Three Strikes And You’re Out
And then there’s Mariah (Camryn Grimes) telling Sharon (Sharon Case) about Nick sleeping with Phyllis.
That’s the biggest elephant in the room, especially considering Phyllis will also be in the room, along with Nick and Sharon.
Will she confront him about his secret? Will he confirm or deny? And will Nick spilling his guts prompt Sharon to do the same? With Nikki and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) in the room?
This wedding could well turn into a free-for-all long before the vows are said.
Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) had the right idea. Don’t get your hopes up. History shows this marriage can’t be saved – even before it’s an official marriage.
