The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 17, 2019, reveal a Billy-centric episode full of sadness, rage, and torment. He faces (almost) all the demons of his past and trying to put the pieces back together.
Alone Time
Billy (Jason Thompson) wants help but has no idea where to turn. He admits his sins to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and talks about the demon living inside him.
Daddy No!
Billy’s deep dive inside his own head begins with a visit from his daughter. A much more grown-up daughter than he last saw. Delia is now a teen and has a few things to say to her dad.
Brothers At Arms
Billy barely has time to process Delia’s visit before Jack (Peter Bergman) shows up in his visions. His brother his there and he is MAD. Jack relentlessly lays into Billy about all his transgressions. It’s time for him to grow up. As the tensions rise do does the need for Billy’s coping mechanism — gum. Lots and lots of gum. He chews, screams, and kicks his brother out.
Motherly Advice
He gets rid of Jack just in time for his mom to come along. Jill (Jess Walton) gives her son a startling reality check — he needs to give up Victoria. She’s the best thing in his world and he keeps dragging her down. If he can’t help himself he needs to walk away.
Red Hot
Of course, this brings Red running into the room. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) challenges Billy and all his crimes. They were toxic then and they are toxic now, even in his dreams. And, it’s pretty weird when they play poker.
A Deadly Encounter
Last but not least, Adam (Mark Grossman) pays a visit. The men go head to head and things get physical fast. Blows are thrown and things get wild. However, what happens next is even crazier.
Regular Billy faces off with his alter ego. Spoilers reveal his battle with himself will be the biggest fight of his life. Billy and Billy will choke each other until the Billy we all know and love wins out in a way Marvel would be proud of.
Is Gum-Chewing Billy gone forever?
Thankfully, Billy’s day will end much like it began — in Victoria’s loving arms. She returns, wakes him from his nightmare, and promises to stand by his side. Does she mean it, though?
Can she take on all Billy’s problems with the ones awaiting her once she turns on her cell phone? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
