News of Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) death delayed Ashley (Eileen Davidson) giving her brother Jack (Peter Bergman) a piece of her mind when it comes to his engagement. However, she will certainly not back down when it comes to Diane (Susan Walters).
Much like Phyllis, Ashley is convinced that Diane hasn’t truly changed. She despises the woman who might become her sister-in-law, and she wants to ensure that her brother knows it.

Of course, Jack isn’t at all interested in hearing any naysayers when it comes to Diane. He certainly isn’t interested in what his sister has to say about the whole thing.

Despite that, Ashley stands her ground with Jack. That doesn’t mean Jack is going to listen or change his mind anytime soon, though.

Meanwhile, Kyle (Michael Mealor) struggles to connect with Summer (Allison Lanier). It seems that as she grieves her mother, Summer is pushing away everyone — including Kyle. Plus, there’s little doubt that she blames her husband’s mom for her mother’s death.
