The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, February 23 promise Victor delegating his dirty work, while Victoria is concerned her father doesn’t care who he hurts to get his way – including his own granddaughter.
Fetch and Carry
Whenever Victor (Eric Braeden, who talks about his cancer battle here) thinks he’s going to get a round of applause for his actions, he does them himself, so everyone can tell him how amazing he is. Whenever Victor fears the actions might not be universally embraced, he gets a flunky to do it.
So Victor has a fall guy in case anything goes wrong. The flunky is usually Michael (Christian Le Blanc). He keeps doing what Victor asks of him. Even when he thinks it’s a bad idea. Even when he thinks it might backfire. We’re not sure why. We don’t think Michael knows at this point, either.
My Girl
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) already suspects Victor doesn’t have Claire’s (Hayley Erin) best interests at heart. Victor only sees Victoria’s long-lost daughter as a tool for smoking out her aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk). And this worries Victoria.
Not just because she knows what her father is capable of, but because she thinks Claire going along with Victor’s scheme will affect her daughter’s recovery. Victor doesn’t care if Claire pays the price for Victor getting his way. Victoria is the one who actually cares that Claire recovers enough to live some kind of normal life.
I Think I’d Better Think It Out Again
For weeks now, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) has been telling anyone who’d listened — and many who really, really don’t care but were forced to listen anyway — that she is right in her recollection of Tucker’s (Trevor St. John) violent outburst in Paris. But now, Ashley has changed her mind. Is she sincere? Or is she faking it as part of a larger plan?
