Y&R Spoilers: Victor And Nikki Seek Elusive Compromise

On the Thursday, February 8 episode of The Young and the Restless, spoilers hint at an unusual situation: Victor can’t get someone to do what he says simply by growling it. Which is why he and Nikki struggle to come to terms both can live with.

Victor (Eric Braeden) would like Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to be the perfect wife: There when he needs her, somewhere else the rest of the time, a domestic goddess, a passionate lover, and a killer businesswoman who brings great honor upon the House of Newman.

Nikki would like to drink. Well, she doesn’t want to drink. She feels compelled to. She also feels compelled to keep up with her work, even after firing Audra (Zuleyka Silver), the only competent employee…who isn’t also out to trap her. Will she and Victor be able to get to a place where he has what she wants, he has what he wants…and they can both stay in each other’s orbit?

Move Along, Nothing To See Here

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has decided she will fight for Danny (Michael Damian). And, fighting for Danny means fighting off Christine (Lauralee Bell). But, Phyllis can’t tip her hand too early. She needs to play her crazy cards close to her vest.

So, for now, Phyllis is just going to waft through town, smiling that quirky smile she has, assuring everyone that everything is under control. Which it is. Just not in the way she wants them to assume.

‘Fess Up

Devon (Bryton James) knows Daniel is cheating on Lily (Christel Khalil). Devon wants Daniel to come clean to Lily. And he’s tired of waiting. Daniel is keeping both Heather (Vail Bloom) and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) waiting for him to do the right thing. But Devon doesn’t feel like waiting. Time to spill it, Danny boy.
