The Y&R spoilers for Monday, July 5 expect Americans to be home for the holiday in time to watch Phyllis Summers try to manipulate Jack Abbott as Tara Locke does the same with his son, Kyle Abbott. Plus, Adam makes a major move.

With her daughter out of the country and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) also there, helping Summer Newman (Hunter King) settle in, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has some free time on her hands. And that’s never a good thing. For other people.

Determined to keep Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) apart for petty reasons as they are none of her business, Phyllis puts a catch in her voice and tears in her eyes as she tells Jack she needs him desperately… and that younger, hotter redhead so doesn’t. Will he fall for it?

And while Jack is being played by Phyllis, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) tries the same trick on Kyle (Michael Mealor). Aww, big, bad Summer dumped him? That is so, so sad. Does Kyle want to talk about it? Cry about it? Have sex about it? Tara is here for any of his needs! Will Kyle fall for it?

Y&R Spoilers — Home, Sweet Newman

As soon as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) announced he was bringing Conner Newman (Judah Mackey) home for the summer, viewers knew it was only a matter of time before Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wanted them both back in his orbit.

He suggested – in that won’t take no for an answer Victor way of his – that Adam and Conner move back onto the ranch grounds. That will put Conner closer to his beloved family. And Adam closer to…Sharon (Sharon Case). Will Adam fall for it? And what will Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) say?
