The Young and the Restless spoilers update for July 12 – 16, 2021, reveal a reunion between old friends, a big announcement, and dreams coming true.
Y&R spoilers show Adam (Mark Grossman) gets a major reality check from Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case). Could this have anything to do with her setting clear boundaries between them now that they are living within a stone’s throw of one another? We hope so, but let’s not forget that Sharon and Adam can’t seem to stay away from each other, no matter how much they both promise to. So will this time be any different? Later in the week The Young and the Restless spoilers show Sharon will have other matters to preoccupy her time and mind with when she bumps into an old friend of hers! We wonder who it could be…
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is too busy to think about what his wife and her ex-lover are probably doing behind his back because he has a new assignment. Does this mean he is no longer on Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) case? That could be, because looking ahead at the Y&R spoilers, it is going to be a great week for Chelsea. She has been scheming to get out of the mental institute, so when spoilers say her dreams finally come true, could it mean she is released? If she is set free, we know the first place Chelsea will be running is straight to Connor (Judah Mackey).
There’s a big announcement coming to Genoa City and we are excited to hear what it is! The announcement is coming from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland (Richard Burgi) so we can hypothesize it might have something to do with a merger of their businesses… or perhaps something that would shake up everything even more? A wedding? You’ll have to tune in next week to find out.
The ChanceComm article about the Locke divorce rocked everyone involved. It led to Ashland Locke having a few all-too-public moments of bad health. People, including Adam Newman and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), were catching onto his medical death sentence and plotting to use it against him.
Chelsea Lawson schemed to get out of the hospital and managed to finagle an outing and a meeting with Connor Newman. She was delighted to be reunited with her son.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Carlton (Beth Maitland) were back in town and fawning over Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). It was a lovely introduction and a great family reunion. Billy (Jason Thompson) couldn’t help but sense something was off with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), though. At the same time, Summer Newman (Hunter King) said her final goodbyes to her parents and the life she left behind.
