The Young and the Restless spoilers weekly update for December 6 – 10, 2021, tease the week ahead is full of regrets, homecoming surprises, and one person struggling with reality. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!

The Young and the Restless — Weekly Recap

Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) found her very much alive husband but was shocked when he didn’t want to come home. No sweat. She threw a fit and guilted him into it. Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) tune changed when he finally got to meet his baby. And, we mean baby. No more blanket bundle for this family.

The Young and the Restless showed Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) came home amidst the ChanceComm scandal. She decided to offload the division to the highest bidder. While this was quite a loss for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she was on to bigger and better things as the new CEO of Chancellor Industries.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) cemented their roles in their new law practice. They agreed it’s quite a big move for each of them, both professionally and personally seeing as how it wasn’t long ago these two met and when they did, it wasn’t great at first.

The Y&R Week Ahead

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease it will be a celebration for the ages. Chance is back home in Wisconsin, and no one is more relieved and excited than Abby. She has waited months and months for this to be her reality, and she, along with the help of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) plan out the biggest and best homecoming party for Chance Genoa City has ever seen.

Not everyone is all smiles, most notably, the guest of honor. Chance has a long road of recovery ahead of him, and adjusting back to civilian life is taking its toll on him. Abby just assumed that everything would return to normal once Chance was back home, but that simply isn’t the case. Chance is harboring a lot of survivor’s guilt because he made it out alive, while most of his friends did not, and it is eating away at his chance to be happy in the present.

The Young and the Restless shows Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) aren’t calling it quits just yet. The pair consent to giving it the old college try one more time and agree to a fresh start. Later Phyllis and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) conversation turns melancholy when they discuss the regrets they both hold in their hearts.
