The Young and the Restless spoilers for June 15-19, 2020 reveal a special week dedicated to some of this soap’s most memorable weddings.
Last week, viewers were treated to a look back at some particularly swoon-worthy romantic interludes, including declarations of love, dinner dates, and marriage proposals. Now YR is prepared to present five episodes looking back at some of its most sumptuous and most anticipated weddings.
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) will be the first couple taking the proverbial plunge. Their February 19, 1996 ceremony will be aired on Monday, June 15 and the episode promises to be chock full of drama and tension.
Supplying the spectacle will be Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) – who vehemently opposes the union – and Christine (Lauralee Bell), who’ll be knee-deep in a love triangle. Just which man is the right one for her? Rock n’ Roller Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) or lovelorn Paul (Doug Davidson)?
Christine thought she had the answer way back in November of 1990 – hence her destination wedding with Danny. That magical moment, which takes place in Hawaii, serves as the basis for Tuesday’s episode.
Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) and Olivia Barber (Tonya Lee Williams) and their 1997 union take center stage on Wednesday. But they’re going to have to share that spotlight with a troubled Victoria (Heather Tom). She doesn’t like the fact Ryan (Scott Reeves) and Nina (Tricia Cast) are seeing one another… and she’s going to let that fact be known.
One day later, and it’s suddenly 2006 in YR land – just in time to witness the joining together of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick. But don’t expect this event to go off without a hitch!
Friday, June 19, features a look back at Victor and Nikki’s fourth effort. It wouldn’t be a Newman family event without a little danger and suspense, so it will probably come as no surprise when you see that the bride and groom are marked for death!
Turns out, Victor angered the wrong corrupt politician. And he, in turn, hired the wrong hitman. “Bob” was supposed to simply arrange for a bomb to level the Newman ranch. However, he gets creative and pulls out a gun! The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
