The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, April 9, 2021, lead into a cliff-hanging weekend with two critical questions: Will the Abbots hand over control of their company to Lauren (for the greater good), and will Nick learn Chelsea’s secret – and keep it?

When last we saw Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), he was digging into Jabot’s finances, trying to dredge up their weak spots. He wasn’t doing it for sound business reasons, but because he’s pretty sure Kyle (Michael Mealor) slept with his wife.
Kyle went running to Summer (Hunter King) to whimper that Ashland had canceled any dealings they discussed having with Jabot, which means the bad man is out to get him! (Guess the bravado that made Kyle ignore Jack’s advice and meet with Ashland himself was of the time-limited variety.)
But could the Abbotts take themselves out of Ashland’s crosshairs by handing their company over to Lauren (Tracey Bregman)? Will this involve Sally (Courtney Hope)? And, even if the business is saved, that still doesn’t let Kyle off the hook. Especially if Ashland’s pride and joy son, Harrison, is actually Kyle’s…
I Know Something You Don’t Know
The way that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has been hopping out of her wheelchair every time the world doesn’t go her way, someone was bound to walk in and catch her.
If that person is Nick (Joshua Morrow), will he agree to keep Chelsea’s secret in order to get her and Conner (Judah Mackey) away from Adam (Mark Grossman), or will he feel some obligation to the man who saved Faith’s life and give him a heads-up?
And, either way, how will Nick feel when he learns that Sharon (Sharon Case) was Adam’s partner in crime? Will he go straight to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) with the information? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
