The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 27, 2020, reveal Adam’s memories come flooding back in Kansas while his story is a hot commodity back in Genoa City.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Over at ChanceCom, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Lily (Christel Khalil) enjoy some female bonding time during which Lily wants to make sure it won’t feel uncomfortable for Amanda to work with Billy (Jason Thompson) despite their friendship. (A friendship that could have gone further, but so far, has not.)
Once that’s settled, Billy comes in with his big scoop via Victoria (Amelia Heinle). This scoop will put them on the map. We are not sure what publication they are actually putting out, but this will be big, right? A Newman scandal is always big, after all.
Victoria: The One With The Big Mouth
Billy’s problem is when Amanda and Lily want to know who his source is. Amanda puts her legal hat on and is not comfortable publishing anything with an anonymous source when she’s not sure who that source is. She promises they will protect whoever this person is legally, but they at least have to know a name.

Lily eventually deduces Victoria told him all this because Lily is so smart and is able to figure out the obvious. Apparently, Billy cannot tell a lie (to these two women at least), so he confesses — yes, it was Victoria who dropped this bomb in his lap.
But He Was Just A Kid
Lily is still not sure she wants to print this because Adam (Mark Grossman) was only 11 years old after all and was defending his mother — not killing in cold blood. (Over in Kansas, Adam is lamenting to Sharon that he wanted A.J. dead, so yes, he decides he was a cold-blooded killer as a child and that’s why he is the way he is today.)
Billy doesn’t care. He thinks this is a way to ruin Newman lives. Why did Victor never even get his child help “like a normal parent” would have? Well, that’s a question for the ages. but the question now is will these three make things worse for Adam for a chance to launch their company with a hot story?
