 Comments

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 1, 2020, kicks off a new month with some new moves. Lola pronounces herself a new, independent woman, while Nikki suggests Chelsea get a new attitude where Adam is concerned. Plus, Victor tries a new approach with his prodigal son.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

When we first met Lola (Sasha Calle), she was a strong, ambitious businesswoman and top chef. Then Kyle (Michael Mealor) went full-court press on the romance department, and she became all about her man. They wed, they wallowed in happiness… they split up. Lola went back to cooking.

But then Theo (Tyler Johnson) kept popping up, trying to pick up where Kyle left off. Lola found herself being pulled back on the romance trail. But that didn’t go too well last time. Lola has had enough. She’s ready to be a new woman!

Wise Words From Nikki

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has a lot of experience dealing with Newman men when they manage to be both full of self-pity and bluster. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is dealing with that now with Adam.

He is both insecure and convinced his way is the only right way. Now is a good time for Nikki to offer Chelsea some advice on how to handle such a volatile character. But Chelsea has never been very good at listening.

Father Love

Victor (Eric Braeden) tried to defend himself to Victoria (Amelia Heinle), claiming that he cares for all of his children equally. Victoria all but laughed in his face and went stomping out.

So Victor doubles down and continues to protect Adam (Mark Grossman) at the expense of every other member of his family. The irony is, that’s what he tried to do 20 years ago when he kept Adam from remembering that he killed AJ. Adam is furious about that now. How will he feel about this? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
