The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Traci Figures Out Dina’s Secret

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 14, 2020, reveal another day of trying to figure out what Dina is trying to tell her children and grandchildren.

On Thursday, Kyle (Michael Mealor) informed Jack (Peter Bergman) that Dina (Marla Adams) was very upset and kept repeating the word ‘Bixley’ but they had no idea what that word meant. She even wrote it down in her desperate attempt to communicate. It turns out Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is in town (which she is often) and Jack lets her in on the latest mystery.

Another Dina Affair?

Ashley’s mind goes one place — why Dina MUST have yet another secret child out there. What else could it be? Jack isn’t so sure he wants to believe that prospect because he doesn’t want to go down that road again. But most of Dina’s big secrets involve affairs and illegitimate children so it just seems like the logical explanation to Ashley as she’s a result of one of those affairs.

But what if it is something much more simple? They bring Traci (Beth Maitland) in on the little secret and she first tries to talk her sibling down from the ledge about another sibling being out there. She can’t figure out what the word ‘Bixley’ means but then she sees where Dina wrote it down and it all makes sense.

It’s All So Simple

Dina wasn’t writing ‘Bixley’–she was writing ‘Bixby.’ Okay, then what does Bixby mean, wonder Ashley and Jack, who just aren’t catching on. Traci has to tell them its the name of a movie camera John once owned when they were kids. Dina wants to relive memories and watch home movies.
