The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, January 6, 2020, promise a day of secrets, surprises, and scares.
Amanda opens up to Billy about her mysterious past, Sharon is forced to make some quick and possibly life-changing choices, and Nikki goes into Mama Bear mode. You won’t want to miss a moment of this high-stakes episode.
Billy’s (Jason Thompson) attempts to find himself mostly involve pouting, sulking… and sneaking off to hang out with Amanda (Mishael Morgan). But while we know all about his past — drinking, gambling, cheating — Amanda is still more or less a blank slate.
It’s not just fans who want to learn more about her, it’s Billy, too. Maybe this will be the day she finally drops the vital clue that will explain why she looks so much like Hilary. And shares a last name connection.
Sharon (Sharon Case) found a lump in her breast and immediately called her doctor to make an appointment. (Good girl, Sharon, waiting and wishing for it to go away is not good medical practice.)
But confirmation might involve surgery. And surgery might involve making an immediate decision about what to do if it’s cancer — and the cancer is malignant.

As for Sharon and a familiar face, not if Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has anything to say about it. Only the day before, Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) were joking about how, now that he’s broken up with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Nikki’s worst nightmare is his reuniting with Sharon.
Nick didn’t look too upset over the possibility, pointing out that all his current dating options are his past loves. Genoa City is a disturbingly small town. But if Nikki finds out, Nikki… she’ll be upset. And that can be entertaining…perhaps. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
