The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, April 20, 2020, reveal Theo getting himself into big trouble. Winners never cheat and cheaters never win and Theo is quite the cheater.
It’s pitch day at Jabot and the teams gather in the board room. Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King) are ready and boy, are they full of sunshine and smiles. They know they have this made.
Of course, Theo (Tyler Johnson) is pretty sure of himself too. He has “his” plan and thinks it’s the best plan around. He’s so confident he even asks Jack (Peter Bergman) to be the first batter up. Oh man, is he going to regret this.
Teasers show Theo gives quite a performance laying out his stolen plan. He’s even quite smitten with himself seeing the shock on Kyle and Summer’s faces. Yes, he thinks this is going well. Spoiler alert, it’s not.
As it turns out, this isn’t just any stolen pitch – it’s Jack’s — and it’s about 15 years old. He pitched this to his dad over a decade ago when he was trying to win some serious respect. Theo wasn’t even smart enough to switch some stuff around, he copied it nearly word for word.
Don’t think this will sit well with Jack. He flips his lid and calls Theo out on his bad behavior. But, wait, dad, that’s not all. Kyle lets Jack in on their secret plan and how this all came to be. Theo was cheating and using Kyle’s very own assistant to do his dirty work!
It should come as no surprise Theo’s fired (probs the assistant too). He’s told to pack his things and GET OUT! Theo begs, Theo pleads, but Theo has no choice but to leave.
So where does Theo go after being ejected from the family business? Society? The hotel? Nope. He heads to the family home to talk to the only person currently in town who still likes him – his grandma. He tells Dina (Marla Adams) everything as she sits and drinks her tea completely unaware he’s in the room at all. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
