The Young and the Restless spoilers for May 18-22, 2020 reveal a special week dedicated to the Winters family in general and to actor Kristoff St. John in particular.
Last week, viewers were treated to a look back at some of the best confrontations between this soap’s greatest foes – especially Jack/Victor and Jill/Katherine. Now YR is prepared to present five episodes detailing the ups and downs (and there are a lot of downs) of the Winters family, headed by Neil.
On Monday, fans will get to see the very first episode to ever feature Neil and it’s only fitting that he should share many of his initial scenes with Victoria Rowell – the woman who so ingeniously brought the character of Drucilla to life.
Their first meeting isn’t exactly love at first sight. But the chemistry between the pair is palpable. So it probably comes as no surprise to anyone that when Tuesday rolls around, the two are a bona fide, happily married couple.
But happily married people are boring. Enter Malcolm Winters. He’s Neil’s bad, bad little brother and he’s played by the then-unknown Shemar Moore. Neil is far from pleased to see his kin and he is less than impressed with the side-eye that Malcolm gives his wife.
It’s one day later for viewers, and 11 years for the denizens of Genoa City. In the interim, Malcolm and Dru have conceived a child, Dru and Neil have divorced, and remarried, separated, and reunited.
And now they’re coming together as a family to help orphan and foster child Devon Hamilton who is in desperate need of a home and some tender loving care.
On Thursday, Neil’s worry about Lily’s (Christel Khalil) safety intensifies. She hasn’t been seen since she went on the run with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) – the teen accused of causing Cassie Newman’s death. When Neil learns that the two have been spotted in California, he hightails it out of Wisconsin and heads to the sunshine state.
The week is capped off with the introduction of the newly-adopted Devon into the Winters household. He’ll bring Neil and Dru many happy times but he’ll also bring them worries – and pain – hello Hilary (Mishael Morgan). The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.
