Adam (Mark Grossman) doesn’t believe it. He doesn’t believe that, at the age of 11, he defended his mother, who was being threatened by AJ, by shoving the loan shark hard enough to kill the man.
Now we know where Connor got some of his more aggressive tendencies. Then again, didn’t we always know? The con artist master manipulator, that part was from Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).
Adam is convinced Victor made all this up to keep him from his rightful place at the head of Newman Enterprises. And he warns his father the old man won’t get away with it.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) believes that Adam did it. And she wants to use it to keep him from his totally stolen place at the head of Newman Enterprises. Victor isn’t on board. But Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott)…
Nikki was the one who told Victoria about it in the first place. She does not appreciate how Adam has hurt her precious babies. Will she be the first on-board to bring down Adam – no matter what Victor thinks? And will this drive a wedge between the happily married Newmans? Goodness knows, they’ve broken up over less in the past.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) is likely to be on Victoria’s side. He was so furious when Victor temporarily sidelined her as CEO and was considering installing Adam that he took the job himself.
And Abby (Melissa Ordway) is pretty busy fighting The Great Hotel Wars to take much of an interest in Newman affairs. But has anyone ever cared what Abby thought about Newman affairs?
