The Young and the Restless spoilers show a Newman family war brewing. Victoria proved, once and for all, that she was Victor’s daughter – and apt heir apparent – when she made a decision that she knew would burst a blood vessel in her father’s brain… while claiming that it was what was best for everyone.

In a press conference that she didn’t give any of her family members so much as a heads-up about – leading Victor (Eric Braeden) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to fear she was about to spill the tea about Adam’s (Mark Grossman) childhood homicide – Victoria (Amelia Heinle) informed the watching world of what she was about to do. Namely, that she would be selling off the cosmetics division of Newman to Jack (Peter Bergman) at Jabot, and the communications division to Billy (Jason Thompson) at Chancellor.

She also offered her mother Nikki (Melody Thomas) the COO job, because a past as a stripper, a state Senate candidate, and a society matron is exactly the CV that Victoria is looking for.

Father Knows Best

Victor stomped over to his daughter’s office to tell her what a bad girl she was being. Victoria blew him off. Victor claimed that it was an attack on him; revenge for taking the CEO position away from her and giving it to Adam… before Victoria blackmailed her way back in. Victoria countered that it was purely a business decision.

Victor told her not to count her chickens, and then he put on his thinking face. Would Victor destroy the company he built from the ground up in order to teach his independent-thinking daughter a lesson? Would he team up with the dreaded Jack or Billy to do it?

Or does he have a partner in crime right under his own nose? If Nikki agrees to work for Victoria, will she team up with Victor to bring their little girl to her knees? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
