The Young and the Restless spoilers show a battle heating up when the soap returns. The soap didn’t know it would be driven out of the studio by COVID-19, but they set up a pretty good cliffhanger, nonetheless.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Spec: Newman Battles
Victor (Eric Braeden) was about to hand over Newman Enterprises to Adam (Mark Grossman), who’d blackmailed Daddy by threatening to reveal Victor had killed a loan shark nobody had ever heard about before.
But then it turned out that Victor was actually protecting pre-teen Adam, who’d done the actual killing in order to protect his mother, Hope. (They’re a very protective clan, the Newmans are.)
When Victoria (Amelia Heinle) found out, she went the blackmail route, too, and got Victor to hand the company over to her. Isn’t it nice to know all appointments at Newman are all so well-earned? But who will ultimately persevere?
Possession Is Nine-Tenths Of the Law
Will it be Victoria, who had the job before, now has it again, and has proven she can be just as ruthless as her father and brother when the situation calls for it? After all, she is her father’s namesake! She’s Victoria Newman! (Fun fact: At the time she was born, she was believed to be Nikki’s husband, Kevin’s, child, and was named after his grandfather. Nikki approved the name for more obvious, more personal reasons.)
More Where That Came From
There’s always another scheme for Adam when the first doesn’t work out. He’s full of them! He’ll take a few minutes, let Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tell him how awesome he is, and come up with another scheme to take down both Victoria and Adam. He is Victor Newman Jr, after all. The Adam comes from his mom’s maiden name, Adams.
Victor: King Of the Hill
Victor will ultimately win. Victor always ultimately wins. You got that? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
