The Young and the Restless spoilers tease a fiery romance on the horizon for Jack. He and Sally are certainly generating talk and fans are convinced she will be the next Mrs. Abbott. Or, at least his next bedfellow.
Anyone paying even a little bit of attention to YR can see Jack (Peter Bergman) is interested in Sally (Courtney Hope). It seems his fling with Kerry gave him an affinity for the younger ladies. Sally is definitely not in his age range but she sure is ambitious and keeps stroking his ego in all the right ways.
Our question is not when and if this pairing will happen, but how far will it go. Will Jack simply lust for Sally, make her his wife, or will the aging gentleman be heading to the delivery room once again?
Jack should be heading into his grandpa years. You would think at least Keemo would make him a pop-pop (has he already? Where is Keemo, anyway?) but alas, no grandbabies (that we know of) for Jack yet. So, why not become a daddy again? That would be exciting, right? Okay, maybe not, but Jacky-Boy needs a storyline.
Some feel Sally would be just the right woman to get in on that action. She desperately wants an “in” and a leg up in the corporate world. What better way than to bear Jack’s child and cement her place in Genoa City. It would be quite the move, and what woman in GC hasn’t had a baby to hold onto a man?
Okay, so we give Jack a baby — now what? Why not add to it by giving Jack and Sally their baby at the same time as Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chance (Donny Boaz). It can be a classic sudsy baby swap with someone in Abby’s camp going off the rails when her surrogate story ends in tragedy and they steal Sally’s newborn.
Poor Abby and Sally would be none the wiser for months on end. Sally and Jack would slip into deep depressions while Abby and Chance bond with who they think is their child. It would make Abby interesting again, give Jack some depth, and get fans on Sally’s side. Win-win all around. Okay, at least until the truth comes out and Abby loses again. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
