The Young and the Restless spoilers show Chelsea’s secrets will not stay that way forever. We think we’ve figured out how her house of cards comes crashing down.
It’s no secret Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) hates Adam (Mark Grossman). In fact, she would like nothing more than to hear he is truly dead (and for real this time). However, she does not want to be a part of his undoing. Not anymore. She has two children who need her, a husband who loves her, and a life to live.
Being an accidental party to Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) nearly deadly poisoning scheme has Chloe fuming. Sure, she would just love to see Adam behind bars for life, but not at her own expense. Not like this. And, not while she is a party to the plan without her consent.
While Chloe cut ties with her bestie, she still continues to cover up for Chelsea. She even derails Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) questioning and deflects the entire conversation. But, she knows the walls are closing in fast. She can feel the heat.
Chloe may have gotten through Rey’s questioning period, but what happens if and when Michael (Christian Le Blanc) sits her down? He knows his sister-in-law well enough to know when she is lying. Plus, he can offer her a deal to keep her out of jail if she spills all the tea.
There is no way Chloe will turn down her golden ticket. Her biggest fear is being away from her children. Besides, what does she have to lose? She was not exactly a willing participant in Chelsea’s devious scheme. Why should she go down with the sinking ship?
Imagine the shock all of Adam’s (Mark Grossman) naysayers will go through to learn he was right. Boy, will Rey have an egg on his face. Never mind that, though, picture what happens when the cops show up and throw cuffs on Chelsea. She will not see this coming. She truly thought she could best a Newman. When is she going to learn she’s not a very good con.
