On a recent episode of The Young and the Restless, Kevin and Chloe spent the bulk of their time together with Chloe whining about how much being pregnant sucks (she’s not wrong), and Kevin urging the baby to hurry up and be born so he could meet his big sister, doting grandma, dad, and super, terrific, awesome mother (maybe he’ll tell the tot about how Mommy also periodically tries to kill people another time).

The Young and the Restless Polling

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) have been blissfully happy ever since she announced her pregnancy. And you know what blissful happiness means? Minimal air-time. Do Chloe and Kevin need more conflict? What over 2,000 audience members had to say:

Keep Calm

An overwhelming 88% of fans are perfectly happy with how perfectly happy Chloe and Kevin are. And you’d like them to remain that way. They’ve had their share of drama.

First, it was their friends-with-benefits weird version of courtship. Then it was the whole Chloe tried to kill Adam (Mark Grossman) time period. More than once. She also lied about Kevin being Bella’s father.

And, oh, yeah, she was presumed dead, escaped a mental institution, and lived in hiding with Kevin while Bella proved to be the most close-mouthed child ever and never let the secret slip to Esther (Kate Linder). What this means is, they’ve had enough conflict. Now is the time for nothing but baby bliss.

Make Us Care

Oh, my God, are happy Chloe and Kevin boring, a smaller 12% of you groan. Can something happen to them? Anything? As long as it’s interesting? Make something go wrong with the baby, turn Bella into the bad seed, have Kevin lose his patience with a hovering Esther, one of them can revert to their homicidal ways — just do something! Baby talk isn’t a storyline! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
