The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, January 9, 2020,  reveal a day of secrets, lies, and maybe even a little romance.

Chelsea and Adam make a joint decision, Phyllis tells Nick a secret, and Rey picks up on Sharon’s stress. How detective-like of him.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman) are presenting a united front. Not just to their haters, like Victor (Eric Braeden), Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), and Billy (Jason Thompson), but also to Connor (Judah Mackey), who has been whining for this to happen for months.

Before winter break, Connor’s school informed his parents that they don’t wish to have him back. He’s been bullying other kids and seems more disturbed than they can deal with.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) made a phone call and — what do you know! — the principal changed her mind! (We hope she enjoys her new gym and/or media lab.)

Victor tried to hold this over Adam’s head when he wanted to remind him how much Adam and Chelsea need his magnanimous presence.

But what if the new couple decides to turn their backs on the Newmans and make their way in the word as a team of three, “Mom and Dad and me?” Or, what if they finally give into temptation?

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) already told Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Adam wanted her to sleep with him in order to break up Nick and Chelsea. Will Phyllis also tell Nick that she’s decided to hound — or charm — Chance (Donny Boaz) until she finds out what went down between him and Adam in Vegas?

She definitely knows something that puts some fear into Chance. But not enough fear into Adam. Hmmm…

Rey: Getting a Clue

Sharon (Sharon Case) is stressing about the lump in her breast and her upcoming mammogram. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) picks up that something is bothering her, and wants to know what.
