The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Rey Is Less Gullible Than Victor Hoped

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 12 find Rey wondering if he’s been played by Victor and Chelsea, why Sharon feels the same about Nikki, and Summer considers it about Nikki.

The Young and the Restless Spoiler Highlights

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Victor (Eric Braeden), and the shrink he keeps on speed dial put on quite a show for Genoa City’s own Law & Order — Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Michael (Christian Le Blanc).

Chelsea confessed to poisoning Rey and framing Adam (Mark Grossman), then acted so out of her mind that Michael had no choice but to take the handy on-site psychologist’s advice that she was suffering from post-stroke psychosis, and would be better off in a mental institution than in jail. Sure, Shrink, go ahead and make that call, and I, as the District Attorney, will just go along with it. Juries and trials and due process aren’t for people who know the Newmans!

But Rey is starting to have his doubts about how conveniently everything fell into place. After all, if you can’t take a con artist at her word, who can you? He returns for just a few more questions – Columbo style!

Surprise Words
Sharon (Sharon Case) has no doubt that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) loves her granddaughter. But she was a bit surprised when Nikki confessed she preferred Sharon to Phyllis. What will come out of Nikki’s mouth to shock Sharon next? We suspect it might be some marriage advice regarding Sharon and Rey!

Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King) knows that her mother loves her. But she also knows that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) isn’t crazy about Kyle (Michael Mealor). So when Phyllis starts giving relationship advice, Summer isn’t sure how seriously to take it.
