The Young and the Restless Spoilers
The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Friday, January 31, 2020, reveals a day that could change everything. Mariah gets close to another woman, Tessa flirts with her ex, and Phyllis sees a side to Sharon that brings tears to her eyes.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has a hard time dealing with radio silence from Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). While she understands her girlfriend is on tour around the world, it still does not feel good at all. Luckily, she will find a listening ear in Society’s new bartender, Lindsay (Kirby Bliss).
As it turns out, these two ladies know each other from the lesbian bar scene. This could spell trouble for Teriah! Lindsey is cute, interested, interesting, and she is right here in GC.
Mariah may want to jump while the getting is good. Tessa says she has no interest in her ex but a scene from the jet will definitely raise fans’ eyebrows. There is a touch of flirting going on and Tessa is the initiator! This begs the question – who will cheat first?
Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) gets a big win when Chance (Donny Boaz) picks her. He has Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) out of his system once and for all and is ready to settle down. Expect her to rub it in Red’s face, of course.
Speaking of Red, she stumbles upon the best-kept secret in Genoa City. She’s at the coffee house when Sharon arrives from getting her treatment port and sees the bandage on her frenemy’s chest. She learns Faith is moving home and notices just how nice Rey and Nick are being to not only Sharon but each other.

It takes mere minutes for Phyllis to figure out Sharon is sick. She confronts Nick and tries to get to the truth of the matter but Nick will deflect all questions. This can mean only one thing — she is right and Sharon’s illness is bad.
In a twist no one will see coming, Phyllis takes this all to heart. She will call off her war, put a halt to her revenge plots, and even tells Nick she is willing to step up.
Helping Sharon get through this trying time (even from afar) becomes Red’s number one priority. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
