The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Monday, January 20, 2020, teases trouble brewing for Kola, Phyllis being a nuisance, Rey surprising Sharon, and Mariah’s heart aching.
Sharon’s (Sharon Case) had a hard few days and could use some serious downtime. She only has a short time to relax before her treatment plan begins and she soaks up all the peace and quiet she can get, which includes spending some much needed time with Rey (Jordi Vilasuso).
The duo plans a movie night but Rey senses something isn’t quite right. Sharon needs more than just him so he dashes out for some snacks and picks up a fun surprise. It won’t just be Rey coming back to the cottage. He has one of Sharon’s favorite people in tow!
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has a hard time processing her mom’s news. She tries over and over to get ahold of Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) but her girlfriend won’t pick up her calls. It’s all for a good reason though! Tessa shows up at the door and the two share a romantic evening.
Sadly, their bubble will burst before they know it. Tessa can only stay for a few hours and it’s simply not long enough. And Mariah doesn’t have the heart to tell her what’s going on with Sharon.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chance (Donny Boaz) plan out a romantic night of their own. Dinner, drinks, and a trip to a suite are all on the docket. It’s just too bad Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) gets wind of the plans and sets out to ruin every part of their night.

A party at Society is set to go off the rails more than once. Summer (Hunter King) and Lola (Sasha Calle) quibble, Kyle gives a snippy speech, and Theo (Tyler Johnson) feels the wrath of his old friend.
The men will get into a battle in Lola’s kitchen when Kyle loses his temper. It’s not a pretty scene and things take a violent turn.
