The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, September 25, 2020, reveal Adam’s past mistakes taking center stage once again.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
It’s an episode of everyone eavesdropping on everyone and no one is safe, starting with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) listening in on Victoria (Amelia Heinle). She overhears her daughter on the phone with Billy (Jason Thompson) and demands to know what’s up. Victoria tells her the truth, at least most of it.
Nikki Takes Action
Nikki hears enough, so she turns up at Lily’s (Christel Kahlil) office and issues a warning. Mess with the Newmans and you’re going to pay. Enjoy your cushy ChanceComm job while it lasts, Lily because if you make one wrong move, Victor (Eric Braeden) will make you pay!
Much to Nikki’s shock, Lily is not exactly a pushover. She gives as good as she gets and all but throws Nikki out. This is business, not war, and Lily will run the company as she sees fit.
The Newman Games Heat Up
As for Adam, he finally gives in and meets up with Chance (Donny Boaz). He gives him the lowdown on tricking Alyssa (Maria DiDomenico) to get her out of town. No, she’s not hurt, she’s just chasing a fake lead. Adam needed the time to talk to the widow. It’s done and all will be well. Chance isn’t so sure.
Chance is right. In fact, things go very wrong very fast. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) hears all. Of course, she will never admit it. Instead, she acts like her normal, snarky self and shares a few jabs with Adam, Chance, and even Abby (Melissa Ordway).
The whole scene puts Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Ordway) on edge. The walls are closing in fast! Thank god Connor is leaving for his new school because this will blow up before they know it. There is nothing they can do to stop it — or is there? Adam wonders if they should make one more call before things explode.
The Night Before Surgery
Meanwhile, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) shows up at Crimson Lights to be with her big sister. Sharon’s (Sharon Case) surgery is one day away and Faith worries about what’s coming next. Mariah reassures the teen all will be well.
As for Sharon, she takes a moment to appreciate Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), or maybe secretly resent him a little (it’s hard to tell). She keeps a smile on her face and tries to be upbeat but it’s clear the stress is getting to her. Thankfully, a night of family fun keeps her occupied. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
