The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Friday, August 28, 2020, reveal Jack wanting more out of life, Lola getting a rude awakening, and Phyllis giving Nick some much-needed advice.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
When Jack (Peter Bergman) comes home wearing the same clothes he left in the night before his sister takes notice. Where were you, Jacky? Why’s he doing the walk of shame?
Don’t get too excited, it’s not that salacious. Jack claims he was simply up half the night at Jabot and fell asleep at his desk. Is that the truth? Let’s hope not. Jack needs a bigger life than work, work, work. Jack definitely deserves more.
All the Abbotts do, in fact. The siblings have put a hold on their lives to be by their mother’s side. When is it time to really get back to their own futures?
A Not-So-Happy Morning After For Lola
Theo’s (Tyler Johnson) all about making the most of his morning-after with Lola (Sasha Calle), but she’s not. Sure, it was good, great even, but Lola’s not ready to read much into their night together. In fact, she opens up about the whole ordeal to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and it seems things are not all sunshine and roses.
As if Lola doesn’t have enough on her mind, she learns Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King) are looking for their own pad. This soon? Why of course. The ink is barely dry on the divorce so why shouldn’t Kyle move in with his girlfriend. Ouch.
Don’t think that means she holds her tongue. On the contrary — Lola has some choice words for her ex-husband, accidentally explodes on her boyfriend, and shoots daggers in Summer’s direction.
Cut Ties And Run
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) sees green, but not in a jealous way. In the money way. Her exclusive club is taking off big time and she’s ready to watch the dollar bills roll in.
Will her joy rub off on Nick? While he’s happy for Red, he’s in quite the sullen mood. The issues with his father are weighing heavy. Phyllis thinks she has the solution — cut him off. Is it easier said than done or is it time Nick to go his own way? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
