The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Monday, June 15, 2020, kicks off wedding week with a fan-favorite union. It’s a trip back to February 19, 1996, when Sharon became Mrs. Newman for the very first time.
It’s Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) wedding day and the young couple can’t wait. Sharon wakes up to a call from Nick, has breakfast with her mom, and gets all primped and polished by Victoria (Heather Tom). Everyone is thrilled and can’t wait to see her take her vows.
Of course, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is not happy about this at all. She always thought her baby boy would marry up and have the party of the year for his big day. But, no, he’s shacking up with a nobody in a small ceremony without much pomp or circumstance.
It’s a beautiful church wedding for Sharon and her beaux. She walks towards him knowing she’s following her destiny and ready for her future as a Newman bride. She and Nick will take their vows and become man and wife.
Sharon and Nick may be looking for a bright future but just days ago another couple fell apart. Poor Christine (Lauralee Bell) couldn’t bring herself to marry Paul (Doug Davidson) but has no idea what she really wants. She takes to her office to distract herself from leaving Paul high and dry.
While it seems terrible to her, it’s music to Danny’s ears. He runs to her office in hopes of rekindling their romance. He must be the reason she didn’t marry Paul, right? Wrong. Very, very wrong. In fact, Danny is the last person Christine wants to see. Or, at least that’s what she says.
Meanwhile, Dina (Marla Adams) is a busy bee as she prepares to leave town. It’s goodbye John, sayonara Katherine, and farewell to her children. It was a mistake coming here and she just wants to go home.
She shares some moments with Jack as she explains herself and asks him to say goodbye to the rest of the family for her. He begs her to stay but Dina does what Dina does best and walks away from her tearful son. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
