The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, June 18, 2020, promise another day of wedding week drama. This time, it’s Phyllis and Nick rushing to the altar (or bar, as it may) for their memorable union from October 24, 2006.
It’s Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) time to shine, or at least get all gussied up for their yeehaw, good time wedding. She wanted a southwest wedding but what she gets is a cheap cowboy hat and a dive bar. Seems legit, since she and Nick didn’t start off all prim and posh, why should her wedding be full of glitz and glam?
Everything will go wrong, but one thing will be right – she and Nick. They stand in front of a room of strangers and are married by the justice of the peace who also doubles as a volunteer firefighter. It’s not the most stunning wedding, but it’s one neither will ever forget.
Back in Genoa City, Lily’s (Davetta Sherwood) on a mission to understand Devon’s (Bryton James) new normal better. He’s lost his hearing and she wants to know what it’s like. Unfortunately, her plan doesn’t go over to well with her new brother. Devon’s struggling enough, never mind having his sister pretend to be deaf too.
In fact, Devon worries he’s taken on too much, too fast. He’s working, in college, and trying to adjust and it’s just too much. Something has to give and he’s thinking of quitting his classes. Can Lily talk him out of doing something so drastic?
At least Lily’s faring better than her parents. Dru (Victoria Rowell) is facing serious charges and Bardwell wants jail time. Perhaps a few years behind bars will do her some good. Carmen (Marisa Ramirez) certainly thinks so. Dru’s hounded her for much too long and it’s time for her to pay.
Poor Michael has the daunting task of delivering the crushing blow to the Winters family, prompting Lily to take matters into her own hands. She goes straight to Carmen’s office to have a little talk with her mother’s enemy. What could possibly go wrong?
Michael (Christian LeBlanc) gears up for a fight to keep Dru free but warns things do not look good. Carmen wants to see justice served and that’s not the only thing on Michael’s mind.
Fenmore is recovering from quite an ordeal and some shady drama with Phyllis weighs heavily on his mind. He wants answers from his bestie, but, of course, she’s away getting married. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
