The Young and the Restless Spoilers Prediction: Will Devon Save Amanda?

Spoilers reveal that Amanda’s ex must have been pretty bad news on The Young and the Restless if the legal eagle felt her only option was to completely erase her past and escape to a new town. But now with all this digging into that very past, it might be easier for him to escape from under the rock she’d hoped he crawled.

Danger on The Young and the Restless

The woman with Hilary’s face doesn’t seem to be a shrinking violet. She’s held her own with drunk men who’ve come on to her, stood up to everything an angry Devon (Bryton James) threw at her, and that goes double for what Elena (Brtyni Sarpy) tossed her way. So if this guy had her running scared, he must be one scary dude.

She thought she outran him. Maybe she has — but what if all the digging by Victor (Eric Braeden) has now put a bullseye on Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan) back? Genoa City isn’t the best place to be if you want to hide out — everyone seems to know each other — and Amanda Sinclair certainly has stood out.

The Backlash
Slowly but surely, the new alleged she-devil in town has been tampering down the anger directed towards her. Even Elena came around — for a few days. And if she were looking for someone to defend her honor, gum-chewing (well, more like dive-bar customer now) Billy (Jason Thompson) has certainly proven he’s up to the task. But we doubt that’s the way this will go.

When her ex shows up in town (and we all know it’s when and not if) and zeroes in on Amanda, this could be the game-changer that gets Devon off his high horse and onto Team Amanda. Sure, it’s okay if he gives her hell for having the gall to have his late wife’s face, but he won’t take kindly to any man wanting to hurt her.

A Turn For Devon

Having to fight an outside foe may be just the ticket to pushing Devon to see a different side of Amanda — one where she’s no longer the enemy but someone who is worthy of living her own life. This also may be a way for him to get to know her better and we all know where that could lead.

If Devon ends up putting on his hero cape and riding to Amanda’s rescue, this could end up forging a very strong bond that might be hard for Elena to break. But if these two ever do become romantic, will Amanda be able to trust that it’s her heart he wants — and not just her familiar face? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
