The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 12, 2020, remember that Summer and Kyle have run off to elope – after texting their parents and turning off their phones. Plus, hey, Chloe had a baby off-screen! And that’s made her an expert in her friends’ lives! And Rey gets a proposal he didn’t see coming.
You would think Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) would be equally responsible for deciding to run off to get married and notify their parents via text message. But, nope. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) knows exactly who is solely responsible for this debacle: Kyle (Michael Mealor). It’s Kyle. He put her precious, innocent baby up to this. Because Kyle knows Jack (Peter Bregman) doesn’t approve of the marriage.
Jack is a lot more polite to Phyllis than she warrants. Jack is always a lot more polite to Phyllis than she warrants. He doesn’t bring up how the last time their kids got married, it was because Summer blackmailed Kyle into it. So maybe she isn’t the innocent one in this version, either.
Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) gave birth last week. Does her son have a name yet? We don’t know! Chloe may not have had time to settle on one yet, seeing as how she is spending her postpartum hours not breastfeeding or trying to sneak in a nap in between breastfeeding, but lecturing Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) on her own life choices. Chloe, for the record, thinks Adam (Mark Grossman) is bad. He will ruin Chelsea and Conner’s lives, so she needs to dump him, pronto.
Sharon (Sharon Case) may have had surgery, but she still has a long road ahead of her. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) has been a rock. Except for that time he walked out in a huff because Sharon was still friendly with Adam. Sharon doesn’t want that happening again. So she pops the question. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
