The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, April 1, 2020, promise a romantic start to the month, at least for one couple. Phick fans rejoice! The fiery couple is back on and officially trying to make it work one more time.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) turns up at the NE office to have some flirty fun with her main man. However, instead of getting hot and heavy, Nick puts a serious spin on this meetup. They need to figure out what “this” is and where it’s going.
In a very Phick twist, the couple make it a bit of a game. They make a pros and cons list and defend each point in their own way. For Red, this means bringing up all the good. For Nick, it means remembering the heartbreaks of the past. Can they get over the pain of days gone by and begin anew again? Phyllis thinks they can.
They each have a colorful past full of scandals, scams, and secrets. They’ve been cheaters, they ruined families, and they even almost destroyed each other’s lives more than once. It does to them but they know it’s not that way for outsiders looking in. Being together means facing Summer’s (Hunter King) wrath and she’s pretty fierce. She doesn’t like this already, never mind hearing her parents are actually jumping back in officially. That’s okay, though, they’ll deal with her together.
Heck, they’ll take on the world if they have to. Summer won’t be the only one against a reunion. Jack (Peter Bergman) won’t take it well and surely Victor (Eric Braeden) won’t like this one little bit. In fact, not many people will want to see this go down.
In the end, this is about Phyllis and Nick and what they want. They agree to open up their hearts, dive into this mess, and let the cards fall as they will. It’s all about love and that’s worth the risk. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
