As the Abbotts get more and more marginalized on The Young and the Restless, Genoa City becomes more and more about the Newmans. There’s a mystery a-brewing.

Out of nowhere, Adam (Mark Grossman) has leaped to the conclusion that because a childhood friend’s loanshark father was killed while Victor (Eric Braeden) was visiting Adam and his mom in Kansas, and Adam and his mom didn’t go to the funeral, that must mean Victor was involved!

The Young and the Restless Polling

The premise would have been completely out of leftfield if, at the same time, Victor hadn’t suddenly pulled out a file he just happened to have handy on AJ the loanshark’s death… and the death of Adam’s beloved stepfather, Cliff.

So it looks like we’re headed for another Newman v. Newman showdown. Whose side are you on? We heard from almost 11,000 viewers.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Victor Victorious

It wasn’t even close, as 76% of The Young and the Restless fans sided with Victor. You’re sure that if Victor did kill AJ, it was for a very good reason. Most likely it was because Victor was protecting his family. Everything Victor does is to protect his family. Did you know that?

He’s mentioned it once or twice. In fact, not only will Victor’s act prove necessary, but also heroic. We bet Victor wasn’t only protecting Adam and Hope, but he was also protecting Cliff, the man who had the audacity to marry a woman Victor had already marked as his own. Victor is such a great guy that he forgave Cliff this transgression! On the other hand, if Victor killed Cliff, the bum had it coming.

Adam, You Had ‘Im

Only 24% went with Adam for the win. It’s unclear whether that’s because you think Adam is truly in the right, you want Victor to lose for once, or because you really enjoy Adam’s cheekbones. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
