The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, October 4 pick up just as Mariah reveals that Sharon is missing… with the arrival of another unexpected Newman.
Missing Persons
Let’s all agree that Sharon (Sharon Case) isn’t the most stable of women to begin with. She’s had her problems, emotional and psychological.
Problems that can’t help but be triggered by the revelation that Nick (Joshua Morrow) cheated on her with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni)… again.
Sharon put on a brave face for Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and told them to run along on to the church without her. She’d follow in just a moment.
The moment turned into much longer. Even the minister wanted to know where the bride was. Mariah went home and returned to report to Nick that Sharon was gone.
But hey, here comes Noah (Robert Adamson)! That’s something! However, did he arrive for nothing? Will his mom never show and his parents never marry again?!

Can you imagine how self-righteous they’ll feel when it starts to look like she’d done a runner?
Of course, Victor and Nikki are so, so superior to their son and daughter-in-law. You won’t catch them constantly marrying and remarrying, breaking up, having children with other people, then giving it another try.
Can you imagine how embarrassing it would be if their relationship history was no better than Nick and Sharon’s?
As for Billy and Phyllis, well, they could show Nick and Sharon a thing or two about how to make relationships work.
Look at Phyllis standing by Billy as he mouths platitudes about going into rehab for his gambling addiction… any minute now.
Phyllis and Billy would never cheat with an ex after hitting a bad patch in their relationship.
And now, Billy even wants to get married, but if Nick’s secret becomes widespread, he just might change his mind.
