The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, December 3, 2019, reveal what happens the night the lights go out in Genoa City.

This means, what happens when Nick and Phyllis, Billy and Amanda, and Victoria and Rey are trapped together to ride it out… in the dark… and the cold… and the soapiness. You won’t want to miss a moment of this high-stakes episode.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Remember When

How many times have Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) broken up and announced that this time, it was absolutely and positively forever? Yeah, definitely more than once.

And how many times have Nick and Phyllis broken that vow and ended up horizontal… sometimes even on a kitchen island? Yeah, definitely more than twice.

So, like Dolly Parton might sing, here you come again… and here I go! Nick and Phyllis wax poetic about the past. Without learning any lessons from it.

Dive Bar

Billy (Jason Thompson) came to Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan) aid when a drunk was flirting with her and not taking no for an answer. But then the lights went out, and they ended up trapped together.

For most guys, the temptation would be obvious. Amanda is a beautiful woman. But Billy has different trigger points. What if Amanda wants to pass the time by playing poker?

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) stops by Newman to speak to Victoria (Amelia Heinle). He has an apology to make. Is it for, once again, arresting her for a crime of which she seemed absolutely guilty and any reasonable cop would have done the same?

Except she’s a Newman. Rey should have known better. Victoria is gracious. Even though she did almost kill JT (Thad Luckinbill) and was in on the plot to fake Victor’s (Eric Braeden) death.

But then their lights go out as well. You should never take an elevator during a blackout. And you can’t expect Rey to take the stairs. Might as well sit here and ride it out… The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
