The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, December 3, 2019, features a near-deadly day in Salem. A vicious attack almost took Will’s life and SteVano came to terms with his new life.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
It was out with the old and in with the new as SteVano (Stephen Nichols) took stock of his life. He wanted his old body, his old face, and his own powerful presence but Princess Gina (Kristen Alfonso) pointed out this is better. He has a hot new bod (complete with a synthetic eye to match the bionic one) and can use the disguise to his advantage.
His biggest concern was getting closer to Marlena (Deidre Hall). He had a heck of a time winning her over with his old self and worried she’d never accept him as Steve either. Again, it was Gina who made him feel better. A lonely Marlena is a vulnerable Marlena. All they have to do is get her away from John (Drake Hogestyn). He can have his Queen of the Night and Gina can have her prince and all will be well.
Rising Suspicions
Meanwhile, Marlena and John joked about Stefano sending the flowers and wondered if the Phoenix was rising again. Even Abe (James Reynolds) was suspicious. They decided they’d call up Celeste and get a ‘read’ on the situation.

Move In With Me
Things were moving fast for Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Justin (Wally Kurth). The pair spent their Thanksgiving together talking about their past, present, and future and decided to take the next step in their relationship. Justin proposed she move into the mansion but Kayla had a better idea. Her apartment isn’t plagued with ghosts of lovers past so why not move in there? Justin was all for it.
Jailhouse Hell
Meanwhile, drama unfolded at the prison. Clyde (James Read) cornered Will (Chandler Massey) in his cell and accused him of leaking the kidnapping plans. Will denied it but it did no good. Clyde was on a revenge mission and wanted justice. He pulled out a shiv and threatened to kill Will.
At the same time, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) paid Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) a visit. She showed him the charred remains of Xander’s (Paul Telfer) confession and promised to get him out. Their visit ended just in time for Ben to get back to the cell in time to intervene, stop his father’s vicious attack, and save Will. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
