The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, April 6, 2020, reveal Adam’s getting his way. Is he really thinking this though, though?
Poor Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is in for an awful shock when Victor (Eric Braeden) and Adam (Mark Grossman) roll into the office. It’s one thing to see her dear, old dad on her first few days back in power. It’s another for Adam to slink through the doors.
Alarms bells ring for Vicky the second her wayward brother comes in the room. And, she’s right to feel that way. Adam wants her throne and will do whatever it takes to get the top spot, even accusing their pop of murder.
Wait, what? Murder? Yes, Victoria, murder. Adam produces Alyssa’s article and shows his sister the “proof.” The father killed a man. Sure, (if it did happen) he did it to protect Hope but that’s neither here nor there. AJ’s untimely death is all that matters, at least to him.

That’s when things take a really interesting turn. Adam goes home to brag to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Victor closes the door to have a secret, offscreen chat with his daughter. What does victor say? Does he make a confession? Do they come up with a game plan?
Spoilers show whatever is said leads to Adam getting his way. Victor calls up his son and concedes. He can have it all. Newman is his and the rest of the family will back away.
Will Adam regret blackmailing his daddy? Probably. He may be happy now but it won’t be long before The Mustache wipes that smug smirk right off his face. Victor has faced off with schemers who are much more powerful than his baddie son. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
