Having rejected Adam’s (Mark Grossman) indecent proposal to seduce Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and break up his romance with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) says no thank-you to the invitation she receives from her ex to join him for a festive feast.
Mind you, it’s not because Phyllis doesn’t want to be there. But, when she learns that Adam has been asked to attend as well, she decides to err on the side of caution and remove herself from the potentially explosive situation.
All About Adam
Now, Nick doesn’t really want Adam there, but it’s Chelsea who insists he invite his brother — for Connor, of course.
However, Nick is incensed by the decision and demands Phyllis explain herself. During the ensuing back and forth, Phyllis finally spills the tea and Nick finds out just how low his brother is willing to stoop to get what he wants.
Welcome Home, Son
Despite the festive atmosphere around her, Lauren (Tracy Bregman) isn’t exactly in a celebratory mood after her youngest son has enrolled in a drug treatment program following a relapse.
But lo and behold, Fenmore (Zach Tinker) does indeed show up, having checked himself out of the facility. Mother and son share a warm reunion and Lauren is thrilled to be able to show off her happy and healthy offspring.
