The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, January 3, 2020, kick off a new year with some new stories in Genoa City, as Sharon gets a shock, while Kevin and Chloe have a better one for their loved ones.
It took Kevin (Greg Rikaart) quite a few confused questions before he figured out what Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was telling him: They were going to have a baby.
And this time there wouldn’t be a question of whether Billy (Jason Thompson) was the dad! And Chloe won’t be telling lies! Or running out of town! This is a win-win for everyone.
Chloe and Kevin break the news to their loved ones. We know Esther (Kate Linder) will be over the moon, and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) will be supportive. So, it looks all happy, right?
But is there further drama brewing with this pregnancy? Or will it be spent off-screen, like most of this Fisher family’s life? We really want to see more of them and even Bella every once in a while.
Sharon’s (Sharon Case) life is on a roll! She magically got her Master’s – online and offscreen! She reunited with Rey (Jordi Vilasuso)! Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is happy with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks)!
Even Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is home from boarding school and not as whiny and seems happy with life now that she’s a young teen.

Business is going like gangbusters — mostly because everyone is buying Nick (Joshua Morrow) birthday muffins. And we assume Noah (Robert Adamson) is also fine… wherever he is. Something has to go wrong, right?
So time for that monkey wrench! Sharon gets some terrible news. Of the medical variety. Is Sharon headed for a medical crisis? The kind that puts one on the front burner and leads to lots of flashbacks going back to her first appearance in 1994?
Then again, Nick (Joshua Morrow) just dumped Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Could this be the kind of medical crises that brings first loves back together? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
