The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Genoa City Remembers Neil

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, May 28, 2021, all converge at the memorial Devon, Lily, and Moses have planned for Neil. Will remembering his life stir up old feelings in those he left behind?

The Young and the Restless Spoiler Highlights

Obviously, the people most affected by Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) death were his children, each of whom is currently at a crossroads in their life.

Lily (Christel Khalil) looks to have finally moved on from Cane (Daniel Goddard) and is setting up housekeeping with Billy (Jason Thompson). But between his ex and hers, not to mention running a business together, is this hook-up built to last?

Neil had his share of relationships that he thought were forever, which fizzled out pretty quickly. What advice would he have for his daughter? Then again, Neil also certainly knew what it was like to break up and make up with the same woman over and over again.

Same Difference

Neil and Devon (Bryton James) were both married to Hilary. But she’s dead now. Devon is dating her heretofore unknown twin sister, Amanda. But she’s got serious family issues of her own.

Ones so serious that Victor (Eric Braeden) felt a need to advise Devon to warn his girlfriend to keep her distance. Would Neil have approved of his old boss running roughshod over his son like that? We think not! Then again, Neil also certainly knew what it was like to battle within family members for love!

Walk It Off

Lily, Devon, and Moses have planned a walking tour of Genoa City to key sites in Neil’s life. (Though, as Nick pointed out, they weren’t told where to meet, or when, so getting them all together may be a bit tricky.)

We’ve been promised flashbacks galore, which means not just a look back at St. John, but likely Victoria Rowell (Dru) and Shemar Moore (Malcolm), as well! Plus location shots from when “outdoors” wasn’t obviously a studio set. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
