The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, January 7, 2021, promise Adam doing what Adam does best – blaming others for his own misdeeds, Kyle looking out for himself, and Lily questioning her most recent choices.
Once upon a time, Adam (Mark Grossman) wanted to get back at Billy (Jason Thompson). So he arranged to cut the electricity at Chancellor Enterprises. What he didn’t realize was that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) would be in the building at the time.
She was in the elevator and, when it ground to a stop, she fell and hit her head. That injury ultimately led to the discovery of a burst blood vessel that sent Chelsea to emergency surgery and now has left her lying paralyzed and mute in a hospital bed. Adam knows exactly whom to blame for everything that has happened – Billy! And he’s going to give that villain a piece of his mind!
Kyle (Michael Mealor) urged Summer (Hunter King) not to be threatened by Sally (Courtney Hope). Summer said, yeah, I’m going to Los Angeles to dig up dirt on a woman who is multiple professional levels below me, doesn’t come from a rich and connected family, and is new in town.
But why pick on someone your own size when you can shoot fish in a barrel? Kyle urged his girlfriend to play nice. But when it comes to protecting his own interests, all that good advice goes out the window.
Lily (Christel Khalil) was all in on Billy when it looked like he might be spending the next two decades in jail. But now that he’s out and their relationship is damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead, NOW Lily is wondering about the wisdom of mixing business with pleasure. Think faster, Lily.
