The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Everybody Sing Gloria for Christmas

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, July 18, 2020, finish up Baldwin-Fisher family week with a Christmas in July, as Gloria makes a very festive return to Genoa City (just in time to let Kevin know what she thinks of his relationship with Chloe). Plus, Victor and Nikki continue to prove who is really in charge in Genoa City.

So what if, just yesterday, we watched Gloria (Judith Chapman) try to cover up the fact that her cold cream killed a Jabot customer and almost toppled an empire. She has every right to return to Genoa City today, with her head held high.

After all, her sons live in Genoa City. There’s Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc), her oldest, the very respectable lawyer married to the very respectable Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and, as of now, father of the non-drug addicted Fenmore.

And then there’s Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Gloria’s less respectable, younger son. He’s making amends for his past criminal misdeeds and growing closer to becoming a pillar of society. He even has a girlfriend who comes from one of Genoa City’s finest families (adjacent).

It’s Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson)! Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) godchild and namesake. Isn’t Gloria pleased? Gloria is not pleased? Gloria, in fact, has much to say on the subject. Take a seat, Kev.

Power Couple

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) never have issues with their children. Or their children’s significant others. On the rare occasion when that does happen, however, they quickly lay down the law to all and sundry. Genoa City is a Newman town, and all better get with the Newman program. Or else.

Or else what? Don’t make Victor and Nikki have to show you! Oh, all right, just this one time. Pay attention. They don’t like repeating themselves. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
