The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 28, 2019, promise a life-changing day for the Abbott family. Dina’s deepest, darkest secret comes to light and this time, it’s real. (Or is it?)
Questions surrounding Dina’s (Marla Adams) teen years have sent Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) down another rabbit hole. The last time they dug into her past they were duped by Jack’s paternity scandal. This time, it’s a maternal mystery they are about to crack. Dina’s not a mother of three, she’s a mother of four!
The tale comes to them from one of Dina’s oldest and dearest friends, Dorris Tillington The former high school gossip queen shares bits and pieces of Dina, John, and Stuart’s past but is reluctant to tell all.
However, once she hears about the friend’s dire condition she decides it’s best to spill everything. She’s afraid if she doesn’t talk, the Abbotts will never know.
Yes, Dina was a busy girl in high school. She was in love with John but she was smitten with Stuart. They were scene partners for the play Hamlet and grew quite close while studying.
So close, Dina lost her virginity to him despite being with John. It was one night and it changed her life forever.
Mere weeks later Dina changed the plans she made for her life. Instead of heading to college she took off for a year abroad instead. Oh sure, a year deferment is quite normal for some, but this was different. Dorris was sure Dina left to hide a pregnancy!

Sure enough, they find the adoption papers tucked inside. The child was given up and became Eric Vanderway. Yes, as in Theo Vanderway! It looks like Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) old friend has really been family this entire time
How will this bombshell change the family? Will they track down and accept Eric? Will they accept Theo (Tyler Johnson)? Is this even real? What if this is another elaborate plan to take the Abbotts down?
