The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 21, 2020, pick up just after Elena confessed to sleeping with Nate – and Devon struck out in rage. Meanwhile, Phyllis sees the crises through the most important lens of all – the one about how this will affect Phyllis and her baby, The Grand Phoenix.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Nate (Sean Dominic) was already having a tough time managing his feelings about sleeping with Elena (Brytni Sarpy). Not just because he bedded his cousin’s girlfriend, but because Nate is obviously developing real affection for Elena.
He was trying to process them quietly. It’s why he dumped Amanda (Mishael Morgan). Because it wouldn’t be fair to her to be stuck in the middle. Having the truth out in the open isn’t helping. Especially when Devon made it known that he was now enlightened by punching Nate in the jaw.
Elena rushes to play peacemaker, but Devon obviously is not in the mood. If he’d wanted to hear what she had to say, he would have stayed and listened, not gone stomping out.
We understand Devon’s rage, but considering how he forgave and forgave Hilary to the point where, by her death, she’d reached canonized status, we think the least he can do is cut Elena the same amount of slack. Though, based on his immediate response, it seems that Devon is placing the bulk of the blame on Nate. How dare he seduce poor, innocent Elena?
Media Blackout
Does it seem like all of Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) big publicity events end with something going wrong and her getting trashed on social media? She’s afraid this will be more of the same and is desperate to keep a lid on the situation.
Maybe she’ll suggest Nate and Devon take this outside. Across the street. To Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) hotel? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
