The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, January 6, 2020, promise a moment of truth for Chelsea and Adam. They have to decide what’s best for their little family, especially Connor. A break up one day, a relationship the next. That’s how it works in Genoa City and it’s no different for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).
There’s no time to wallow after being dumped by Nick (Joshua Morrow) while Adam (Mark Grossman) is around. She’s now free to be with the love of her life and it looks like she’s not wasting a moment.
Adam doesn’t waste any time either. He wants Chelsea and now that she’s free he’s turning up the heat. A hot date, a romantic speech, and a proclamation of undying love are all it takes to have Chelsea agreeing to be his leading lady again. The best part, they get to share their joyful news with their son.
Spoilers show Connor will be thrilled, of course. This is what he’s wanted since he found out his dad was back. He loves his mom, adores his dad, and living together is the dream. Especially if his parents are going to try being a couple again.

It’s about time he catches a break. He can finally get back to school, a regular schedule, and have the life with both his parents under the same roof.
Of course, this could go the other way too. Things may seem great at first but one small argument and this dream life could go up in smoke.
